Step 2: Find the center of the elastic, make a hole, and flip the hair in the elastic from the bottom, towards the ceiling. Step 3: Divide the ponytail into 3 even pieces. Step 4: Starting with the right section, create a normal, 3 strand braid. Step 5: Pull the OUTSIDE edges of the braid (pancake them), and secure with an elasitc. Step 6: Repeat step 5 on the left section. Step 7: Take the middle section of the ponytail and backcomb the base slightly (to make fluffier). Step 8: Join the right & left braided sections to the middle section of the ponytail, and secure with an elastic. Step 9: Really tug at the base of the ponytail to make tighter, and create the desired heart shape.
